TTR - Pre Season 2023

I’ve owed you all this ‘splainer for awhile so here is your first TTR of sorts.

10 years ago or so when Kommish and I were laying the groundwork work for what would eventually become ManChild, we focused on creating an excuse for ourselves and our friends to connect at least once a year in our happy fun home for degeneracy and debauchery. Since then the ManChild family has grown, but the core ideals remains largely unchanged. In the calm of ManChild 2023 Eve, and as I am still cleansing from Kommish’s nuptial celebrations (huge shout out to all of you who cleaned up after me and made sure Cara and I made it home safely, I’d name names but I don’t remember shit after 730p), I realize how much I will miss Vegas, drinking, gambling, fantasy football talk, and especially the brotherhood.

I know it hasn’t seemed like it lately, but these pillars of ManChild, are manifestations of values that are important me. However, for a variety of reasons, I made the decision, for better or worse, to deprioritize ManChild. Make no mistake, I went into this with eyes wide open both understanding the impact it would have on my involvement in ManChild and also hoping it was a temporary change. I sense this season for me is coming to an end, which I hope means my full return to ManChild. In the meantime, I will try to fulfill my obligations as 0.5 AND Huevo.

May your glasses be always full, may your lungs be ever black, may your teams be fully cursed, may your stacks grow large, and may your stomachs be filled with the best bounty and only be emptied by normal means.
